Sha, great review! My husband and I both take back hurting (and I take hip hurting every bit well), and we've found that sleeping on a memory foam mattress has made a huge difference. But ours is 10 years former and isn't as resilient equally it was when it was a "spring chicken." ;) Then we're in the market place for a replacement. I tend to exist cold when I'one thousand tired, so I have the covers up to my chin even in fairly warm conditions, but and then wake up sweating in the middle of the night. So I've been wanting to try a gel memory cream mattress this time, which is supposed to be cooling. GREAT review on a product! We are in the same situation. No medical insurance. I do know what causes my lower back hurting....and I practice what I can to deal with it. Subsequently a rollover collision a few tears ago I learned I have degenerative disc illness. Some weeks are good, some not so much. During a bad week I came across your review after spending numerous hours online searching for the perfect topper and today I took the plunge. Big Lots is about 2 mikes from my domicile and they had one King size left--it was mine!!! The Male monarch size is $119.00--still cheaper than annihilation I found online. I only took it out and put it on the bed--fits beautifully and I have the enclosed embrace in the laundry every bit I write. Hopefully my lower back and hip pain will be helped by this. Had this foam mattress topper for about a month and it has been very proficient. I have endemic at least four matress toppers before ranging from 1 inch to 4 inches. This 3 inch matress is but correct with the appropriate cream density for my needs. I feel every bit if im floating with this cream topper and no ppressure points. Lower back feels great in the morning time. Awesome value overall and got minr at Big Lot. Thank you for starting this blog.

For the night sweats attempt macca root. If u have a whole foods or an earthfare near u or any other health food store they have information technology there. Get pure macca root pulverisation u merely employ a teaspoon or so mix it in juice. Nighttime sweats gone. Very cheap

I see it has been v weeks since I put the gel topper on and took the other topper off. I no longer need a footstep stool to get onto the bed, I just stand on my tippy toes. The large news is that for the past week I have slept through the dark, I'd say 5-vi hours on average. I had been waking upwards every ii hours on average before. I am happy, happy, happy. Thank you for your review that sent me to find this. Btw, the other topper, the incorrect i, is rolled up and covered up in the basement. Neighbor didn't want it. Those of you with new beds or toppers: give them a few weeks to get used to. For some, the condolement is instant, and for others it takes a few weeks. I felt the comfort instantly, but the sleep extension took a few weeks. Oh, the true cat is however thrilled, too. She has lots of places to choose from to snooze and still get rubbed and petted past me, so she gives this a thumbs up, too. :-)

I finally got the four-inch Serta foam off my bed and put the gel topper on. Oh, what a difference! I love it! My cat loves it! We sort of fight for our spots since there is so much more room than the couch nosotros'd been sleeping on. Give thanks yous So MUCH for your review. I'd take never tried this gel topper if I hadn't read information technology and the comments. My body thank you you. I would have never guessed in that location would be such a difference.

It doesn't experience bumpy, mugsylover. You tin can feel the texture, just information technology's actually rather soothing. Y'all tin can feel information technology when you rub your easily over it, only not with your back. I don't know if I'grand properly carrying what I'm trying to say or not. Follow up. I slept on it terminal night and must say that it was the all-time selection always! I permit information technology sit out for about 6 hours, but couldn't wait to try information technology out. The instructions says that its ok to employ information technology after information technology opens upwardly, but information technology does accept a constructed smell. It really did not bother me, and later on I got home today, I hardly find it. I put it in a room with a small space heater to speed up the process, and the next twenty-four hours used my air purifier to try to get as much of the odour out. I slept similar a babe! I had a spinal chord injury and could non go comfortable in my bed. I spent $ane,000 on a pillow acme mattress, only it was as well house. I had a cotton topper on it before, only after ii washes the seams tore and had to throw it out. With just the mattress, I could not lay on my dorsum, or either side for too long without having pain. I am a side sleeper. After putting the Serta to the test I noticed, that I was comfortable without pain on either side, and really fell comatose on my back. I also unremarkably have to slumber with ane leg out, because I get hot. This pad actually kept me cool! I woke upwards at vi in the morning feeling completely refreshed. I usually sleep until 8:xxx and have trouble getting up due to the tossing and turning. I highly recommend anyone with hurting, tossing, or sleep problems to give this a shot. At $99.00 at Big Lots was worth every penny. Thank you again bravewarrior for the recommendation and review!

We accept a Large Lots not far from here, only I'1000 disabled and I don't desire my hubby to know I've bought another one. It'southward easier on my body and my nerves to pay a bit more to have it delivered and then I can hide it until he's out of the business firm. I don't know how large the Large Lots stores are, but my back and other body parts are too bad to walk very far. Wal-Mart? Forget it. Grocery shop? I pay for those trips for days. I use the shopping carts for walkers. :-) I did take a nap on the bed today - examination run for the first time. So far, then good. I had to lie downwardly with the superlative of my back and scootch my body upwardly pressing my anxiety against the dresser. I need to wear slick nylon-type jammies, I guess, to make information technology easier to go in.

Shauna, I know it's a topper that goes on the mattress. Luckily for me, the bed frame arrived get-go, then the mattress and box spring, then the I put the topper on. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong topper. The one I have is merely foam, non gel. I took the like shooting fish in a barrel way out and ordered the gel one from Amazon today and paid more for information technology only then I'd have it and have it delivered. Maybe my neighbour will take the old one since I oasis't even slept on it yet and they but got new beds. Y'all should meet my bed. I had to lodge a stride stool to get onto it. I measured, and it is 34" loftier to become onto the bed. The bottom of my barrel doesn't reach that high, fifty-fifty though I'm 5'10" - or used to be. I even ordered the low profile box spring. I'd demand stilts if I'd gotten the regular box spring. Anyhow, I at present have the softest pillowtop Sealy bed they make (an 8) and should be getting the gel topper Th and be happy, happy, happy. Thank YOU!! (Oh, I never did hear from Big Lots.)

Jean, this is not a mattress. It's a topper that fits on pinnacle of your existing mattress. I've seen Big Lots commercials for the Presidents' Day promotion. I've seen the topper that I review in this article for the aforementioned toll repeatedly: $99 for a 3" queen size topper - and they are in stock. Yous'll have to go to your nearest Large Lots if yous want to purchase the topper in improver to the mattress (from what you're telling me).
I don't want you lot to be confused between the mattress and the topper. They are two unlike sleep choices. I chose the topper because I'd already bought a new mattress (not a Serta) and I was attracted to the cooling quality. I fabricated a skillful decision in buying the topper.
Thanks for sending this link to your friends. Please also send them my response to your annotate. I don't want the topper to exist confused with a mattress. Information technology'due south an enhancement (that works great to alleviate back pain) but information technology is non a replacement for a mattress.

I just wrote to ask if they'll have any toppers. My new bed will be here Monday, and just in case I want the topper to add. WiccanSage, your bed sounds crawly. Is the gel topper one that stays cool? I love that characteristic in mine. I tin can't stand being hot while I sleep. When I bought the topper I was nevertheless suffering nighttime sweats then it was a great relief to have something absurd against my skin. I agree with you - cream is the way to get.

Rebecca, my mattress was doing me more than harm than expert and information technology's not even 2 years old. I'd wake up then achy every morning. A hot shower helped but only temporarily. The topper has done the trick and saved me a lot of money in the long run.

I got a memory cream bed with gel topper-- it was similar 'where take you been all my life?" I beloved information technology. The gel cream works pretty well, and the bed is so comfortable. I think the fox is the density & the thickness-- y'all have to get pretty high density and I was told to become one at least 12 inches thick (mine is fifteen inches), but it is awesome. I was getting and so sick of bound mattresses giving out... I've had mine now for near 8 months and dear it. It wasn't a serta but I highly recommend the foam.

I highly recommend information technology and no ane has this topper for a lower price than Large Lots, from what I've seen.

Leah, put the egg crate side up. Yous'll love this topper. It'southward the best purchase I've ever made. I haven't had back pain since I bought information technology. It maintains its shape beautifully. I've been sleeping on it for six months at present and it is the aforementioned as when I first put it on the bed - no trunk dents or misshaping. The all-time function is, it's cool. There's naught worse than being hot while trying to slumber!
If yours came with a case, be certain to use it. It's really pretty easy to get the topper inside. I was able to practise information technology myself.

This bed is the anti-sexual practice bed! Very comfortable but once you are in it you cannot motion at information technology feels like you have been sucked in past quick sand it is literally difficult to even ringlet onto your side or get out of bed makes you lot feel like you weigh 500 pounds and there is no way yous tin can move in whatsoever management for whatsoever hanky Panky so if you are lone and have back or hip pain this bed is perfect for you lot
